Archery Premier League Tamil Nadu: A New Era for Archers

The inaugural Archery Premier League (APL) features a Tamil Nadu-based team called the Chola Chiefs. The first season of the APL is being held in New Delhi from October 2 to 12, 2025

Chola Chiefs team roster

The Chola Chiefs squad includes a mix of top international and Indian archers

  • Recurve Men: Brady Ellison (USA) and Tarundeep Rai (India)
  • Recurve Women: Deepika Kumari (India) and Anshika Kumari (India)
  • Compound Men: Rishabh Yadav (India) and Pulkit (India)
  • Compound Women: Meeri-Marita Paas (Estonia) and Taniparthi Chikitha (India)

League format and schedule

  • The APL features six teams competing in two round-robin phases, followed by knockout matches.
  • The first round-robin phase runs from October 2 to 6, and the second from October 7 to 11.
  • All matches are being held at the Yamuna Sports Complex in New Delhi.
  • The semifinals and finals are scheduled for October 12, 2025.
